For the second time, my friend Mary Ann invited me to her daughter’s birthday party.  I am glad that she invited me and also told me to bring my nieces, nephews and my sister.  Last birthday of her daughter was an exciting and fun.  My nieces are very happy attending the birthday party.  Though they did not join in any of the parlor games, still they are having fun watching the kids playing in the parlor games.  And also, they are having fun in the pool area because part of the amenities of the area where the party is being held has pool and swimming is for free as part of the package.

This year, the birthday party of her daughter was held in club house.  Different place last year but still have swimming pool.  The club house is nice, clean and very private.  I can tell that area is secured.  The party was a blast and lots of fun.  And also has sumptuous foods to eat.  I ruined my diet that time but no regrets because the foods are worth to ruin my diet.   Once again the kids are having fun especially my nieces who joined the games this time.  They are not shy anymore.  Though they did not able to swim in the pool, still they are happy joining the parlor games.

The club house is a nice place to held a birthday party.  The kids can swim, run and play around because the area is wide.  If I have enough budget, I would love to held the birthday party of the kids or even if there is no occasion.  Just go there to relax and unwind.

Because we are having fun at the beach last February 12, 2012, we missed the last trip of the fairy boat that will take us to the city proper.  The father gets angry because the weather is cloudy.  The father is afraid if the rain starts to fall because we did not bring umbrella to cover the kids.  Though there are still buses that will bring us to the city yet, angry because it will take us more than one hour to reach the city because the bus will ride in the barge to cross the sea.  But, we do not have a choice since the last trip of the fairy boat is already left.

It took us almost an hour to reach the pier where the barge docked.  When we reached the pier, the barge is on the way to dock.  I took a photo of the barge.   See also the cloudy weather.  By looking at it, you can really tell that anytime soon the rain will fall.

The photo above is the bus that we rode.  The one wearing red shirt is my father and behind him is yours truly inside the bus.  Oh, we are in the barge already.  Did not able to take a good photo because the brother does not have enough space to take a good photo of us inside the bus.  One of the nice experiences I have because it was my first time to ride in the barge.  I would love to ride again because it is fun.

At the wake of the cousin, all the relatives that lives in the city and in some parts of Mindanao got the chance to see each other again.  It is like a reunion as what my aunt says, but sad to say we care seeing each other for a very sad reason.  The feeling that we have is a mixture of sadness and happiness.   Even if it feels very awkward to talk happy things in life, still we did rather than to be sad for the cousin who passed away.  Yes, we are sad about her but we just think of the positive side of it.  We just think that the cousin is now living an everlasting life above and is now one of the angels.

While there, the aunt opens a discussion about having a clan reunion this year.  Bad timing to talk about but good suggestion of her for us to see each other, do the bonding and creating happy moments with each other.  I just listening and observing about the conversation they have.  And I guess it would be nice have to reunion this year.  It has been years since the last time we had our clan reunion.  They are talking of the venue and the plans but not yet finalize.  I just hope that this will be pushed through this year because I really wanted to see other cousins even if they are a bit mean to me and to my siblings.  Looking forward for the oldies to finalize it.

Last Saturday, the family celebrated the 9th wedding anniversary of the brother and SIL.  As we have planned to spend it at the white sand beach, we grabbed the opportunity to be at the white sand beach where the cousin works as security guard.  Going to the resort here in the city is a bit expensive and to be invited for free is a great opportunity.  We have to ride in the fairy boat to get there.  It was a great experienced for the kids because it is their first time to ride in the fairy boat.   The resort is not fully operated because some parts are still under construction.  We stayed at the area where the renovation is on going.  The area is quiet and the water is clear and clean.  Seems like it is our private resort because it was only us who was there plus the body guards.  On the left side is the photo of the  nice water in high tide condition.

The family really enjoyed the water and the white sand except my father who got sick when we reached at the beach.  Too bad because the father is not feeling well while us are having fun swimming.  Even though, the father was happy to see his grand children playing and swimming at the beach and sometimes calling him to join them.  The water is in low tide condition when we are about to leave the beach Sunday afternoon.  But before we leave the beach, I took a photo of the low tide beach.  On the right side is the water in low tide condition.  See the water in blue color?

It was a wonderful wedding anniversary celebration of the brother and SIL and at the same time perfect family bonding away from the city.  We will definitely be back to this beach soon.
